Loving

Why do people love? Why do they let themselves be carcirated? Why don't they close up and shrivel? That way they won't have to face the hardship of pain- maybe it's better to experience pain so you know never to go through it again. Maybe people are silly fools who just want to be hurt, because they really don't know better, they just...want to be alive. Maybe you can never really know what life is all about until you've dived into the deep end of life and sacrificed your heart and soul, but then I want to know why it's so appealing... yet I do believe I do already know-  I just don't understand it yet, maybe not now...(or ever).
