NUMBER
Number 1. Will anyone actually want to marry me? And I don't ask this because I feel bad about the past etc. etc. It's just something I wonder
Number 2. Will my life get better?
Number 3. Will the things I think actually happen?
Number 4. Can I get some more decent friends?
Number 5. What will my life be like a year from now?
Number 6. Is dying better than living?
This is a post I wrote in 2017 it's now 2019 July and November has gone. I can now answer these questions.
1. Yes you will get married in 9months to be precise.
2. Yes and No, depends on how you look at it. You won't be running as much as you were back then but you will still be exercising. You'll have less family drama and more marriage worries. In a way I think you lost some contentment but no worries you can gain it back.
3. Well you wanted to run a half marathon back then, you did do it. You wanted to get married, you did that. You thought you couldn't raise 2k you were so close and you did have the opportunity to go abroad. So yes the things you think can happen.
4. Well you have to go and make them to have them. Unfortunately you don't see your friends as much now and you lost some friends along the way too. It happens, its life I'm afraid.
5. 1,2 and 3 is pretty much a summary of what happens. But you do also get a job two in fact and go hiking, run consistently for about 7 months, volunteer with a magazine and a coffee shop so all in all you had a decent year. The year kinda goes downhill after August but that's because you find it hard to adjust to married life.
6. Well unless you die you won't know and I don't think you're ready to die anytime soon. So stop being silly and start enjoying your life.
There, I've answered my questions now I don't need that past self guilt.
