like around the world
someone new notices someones smile
or their laughter
maybe the way their eyes light up

or even the brilliance in their eyes as they talk about something they are passionate about
and slowly as you talk
and you find how similar
or dissimilar you are
but there's something that strikes you

maybe there's a dislike at the begin
but you warm to them

and then you fall
slowly

and then you're staggering and pricking thorns
and you're at the bottom of this pit

sometimes with this person
and other times you wake up
