Cyclothymia

Today in class we spoke about bipolar and the mania and depression associated with the disorder. In America, there is a another diagnosis termed cyclothymia and it refers to the inability to cope with life or situations in life. Apparently Stephen Fry has been diagnosed with this condition and I honestly feel like I have this condition also. I feel like I am unable to cope with life events as well as others. I look at my sister and I think how do people deal with things so easily? I feel like I am unstable alot of the time. I think a lot of the time my mood is fluctuating and I find it hard to be unaffected by happy or sad events (to an extreme). Well we don't have the diagnosis of cyclothymia in the UK because it appears too generic as in alot of people can fall under it, I presume.

Anyway that's just my thoughts.
